Our Business Development Manager, Stuart has provided a little company update, explaining our company growth, biggest markets and new factory opening near Budapest in Hungary.
What does the news story say about us?
In July 2021, Leyland Hose and Silicone Services (LHSS), a manufacturer and distributor of high-quality silicone hoses opened an additional manufacturing facility in Hungary. LHSS has been designing, manufacturing and distributing high-quality silicone hoses primarily for use in the bus, truck, automotive, marine, rail, fuel cell and industrial markets for more than 30 years.
This new factory and distribution centre, near Budapest, will enable the company to triple its previous manufacturing capacity, provide an alternative cost-effective offering, significantly reduce logistics costs, and reduce delivery times especially for European-based customers.
“Our biggest market is Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia. The UK is still a large and important market for us and interest is strong, from the USA and Canada, with business growing annually,” says business development manager Stuart Hibberd.
